University of the Sciences Breaks Ground for New Facility

On February 21, 2013 University of the Sciences broke ground for a new facility, the first new campus building in more than 15 years. The future home of the newly-accredited Physician Assistant Program, the 57,000 SF building will house six classrooms, five exam rooms, student lounge, a lecture hall and clinical practice lab. Sustainable features incorporated into the design include a green roof to prevent excess storm water run-off, and a floor-to-ceiling triple-glazed curtain wall system that eliminates the need for a hydronic perimeter heat system. Occupancy of the new facility is slated for mid-2014.
